CARE-ing Community Conversation
For nearly 30 years, the CARE Awards has recognized outstanding companies proactively making our region a better place for everyone to work, live, and play. NVFS had to cancel our annual CARE Awards ceremony in the fall of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the last year, during the simultaneous health and racial crises impacting our country, companies have had to show their CARE-ing spirit now more than ever before—stepping in to support employees and communities through these unprecedented, tumultuous times.
In an effort to offer a forum that will provide collaboration and idea-sharing among our business community, NVFS is hosting the CARE-ing Community Conversation on May 20th. The combination of a speaker and breakout sessions will focus on topics such as equity, diversity, and inclusion; employee mental health; community engagement; and a virtual work environment, among others.
